    Guys,

My mate made me a pull up bar with some tubing etc
W exhale be fitting it next week but he has told me to paint it in the meantime.

What would the best course of action be?

    1. Spray can black paint.
    2. Ham write or similar.
    3. My local wheel refurb place could powder coat it.
    4. Something different?

Once it’s bolted up and in place it will be permanent outside and exposed to the elements.

    Thanks.

    External metal paint.
The type depends on the material. Consider the texture you want.

The paint would be applied via spray, powdercoat, brush. Doesn’t matter except to your pocket and the effort needed.

    Thanks.

    It’s steel.
Powder coating in black is costing my €80.

Hey OP how is your outdoor pull up bar holding up in the elements?

I got it powder coated by a guy that does allow wheels. Still looks perfect.

How much did it cost all in? Purchase, fitting & coating?

    Thanks

    I’ll get a pic later.
My mate fabricated it. Cost near €100.
I bought the bolts for €20.
    Cost me €80 for painting.

I’m thinking of selling as I don’t use it :)

Any updates on some pictures? I'm thinking of doing the same thing with mine but wondering how it turned out.
