It happens. I intentionally put the cheapest ineligible player and the highest owned available player rules in to try lessen the blow in situations like this.

How Davis ends up being the highest owned available player rather than Brewster though is a question I don’t really understand the answer to. Early teams that haven’t wildcarded or gone dead I suppose.
