Audi. I always assume that the owners of these vehicles will act the maggot on the road, including never indicating at roundabouts.

Audi -Middle aged man with greying hair, massive ego, thinks theyre great drivers but are actually dire and drive dangerously because they think it makes them cool.

Apple - sheep. Doesn't know how restricted their devices are, and how much theyre being ripped off for subpar devices.

Not a brand but notice a lot of people are addicted to buying useless ****e from amazon they don't need. Addicted to consuming and buying worthless plastic junk while they spend all day just looking at the amazon app. Very sad.

Same people will also complain they can't afford xyz and are struggling financially.

Anyone remember yuppies with their filofaxes? The modern equivalent is probably hipsters, collectively they can simply be called knobs.

Grey tracksuit of any brand = scobe. Bonus scobe points if your kids are wearing matching ones.

Anything with ostentatious designer labels screams new money or try hard, especially D&G, Gucci, Versace or Marc Jacobs.

If you eat at somewhere such as chopped your a hipster and you will move into the next fad.

Beatz headphones - Their main concern isn't value for money or sound quality. They probably also have terrible taste in music.

I'll make allowances for younger people - under 25 say - you can have the best intentions at that age, but lack the nous to know you've fallen for marketing hype.

Don't forget Lee Cooper. Same price bracket as wranglers.. still popular around Crossmaglen, along with the 'dealer' boots.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention. It's all about the look for apple users.
Nevermind you're forced to use their ****e software and their compatibility with other computers is terrible, and their phones let you do nothing in terms of accessing their files easily without all the useless itunes and apple software they force you to install, and nevermind the fact their macbooks have such ****e hardware you'll end up paying an extra 1000 euro vs an actual useful computer.

It all boils down to look. I have an apple product therefore I look like I have money and in my eyes that makes me cool.

    Brainwashed by marketing.

You have to hand it to the Apple marketing crew though, there can't be many companies out there where their customers will do everything in their power to defend their products

I hear conflicting things about this. One one hand people I know who work with anything at all involving graphic design or audio/visual shooting and editing seem to prefer Apple products.

But anyone I know who works with development or programming seems to hate Apple products.

So are Apple products "superior" - and, if so, why?

Tag Heuer watches - the timepiece of choice of car salesmen, IT consultants, and small shop owners.

Aldi - I was watching that Prime Time special last night and an ad for Aldi came on during the commercial break. It showed a family boasting about how much money they had saved by switching to Aldi. I live in Germany, and Aldi is associated with students, Turkish immigrants, and penny pinchers from the former East Germany. Irish families have more than enough money to spend on quality food, and should spend more on quality fruit and vegetables, free range (preferably organic) chicken and pork, fresh fish; bread that doesn't come from a plastic bag, and wine that is actually drinkable. They seem to skimp on food, and then squander their money on completely unnecessary fripperies like bouncing castles, televisions for their bedrooms, all inclusive package holidays, and cheap diesel cars on PCP.

Nespresso - you don't like coffee, and you don't like the environment.

People who wear high end designer labels (doesn't matter if its real or counterfeit) with the brand logo on display in a big way i.e. the logo covers most of the garment e.g. Hugo Boss etc.

I'm convinced these people are trying to fit in a class they are not a part of. I'm also convinced the labels know this.

    Also penneys 4 life :)

They’re really not any more or less superior than anything else out there. I’m typing this reply on an iPhone 7 Plus, it does the job, it does what I need it to do. That’s all I want it for. I thought about getting an iPhone 11 when they came out, but iOS 13 would be pretty much the same, and I sure as hell don’t need four cameras! I might not bother with an iPhone 12 either when iOS 14 is released and STILL works on a phone that must be what, five years old now?

I did have to laugh at the earlier comment about 120Hz refresh rate on Android and sticking with his €100 phone, as if you’d get 120Hz refresh rate on a €100 Android phone, that was just pure cheeky! :D

All that being said, I’d go back to Windows 10 Phone on my Lumia 950 in the morning if I could. Loved the OS, the hardware, etc.

    its not just audi drivers.

the amount of people who dont indicate on roundabout, going on or coming off, is staggering, i'd say its about 60% plus. I genuinely believe they don't know you're meant to indicate at all.

That was a great phone, and the Windows OS was a joy to use. Pity Microsoft decided to pull the plug on it. Not that it matters; they are now the most valuable company on the US stock exchange.
