    2 FTs.

    PEA out anyway.

Maybe PEA and Ngakia to a 3.9 and Kane

Or PEA and Guendouzi/Saka to Martial and striker under 7.0.

Main rival has Kane so I have the fear.

Auba to Kane, nice fixtures and no one else stands out.

Jota one pointer will probably be his last run in my team this season. Him to anyone under 6.4mill. Thinking of Greenwood depending on how they look in the game against Norwich and if he avoids getting injured. Would allow me to upgrade Cantwell and play 5 in midfield.

Jack Robinson out for AWB and play that massive bench boost sized hole that's burning in my pocket

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,740 ✭✭✭caviardreams

Possibly Mane out due to rotation fear with Pulisic maybe coming in

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,698 ✭✭✭sheroman01

2FTs. I'm thinking Son & Ings OUT, Martial & Rashford IN

    Pulisic in for Sarr

Will need to find the cash from somewhere with my second FT

It didn't look too bad to me

Will wait for Frank's presser before pushing the button

What’s the panic ? Would you not wait until he plays the league game to be sure

Ings in for Jota but no idea how to afford it.

Ings in for Jota but no idea how to afford it.

I was thinking of Ings in for PEA myself too, but his fixtures don't look too great. Form is great tho 3 G & 1 A in 3 games since the restart.

I'm going with PEA -> ? but have not decided who the replacement is yet. Kane, Jesus & Ings are gonna get some considerations anyways.

I have the money for it
But don’t like his fixtures ......
Wouldn’t start him next week if I signed him
Will stick with Rashford plan for now . Although I have to say o am not convinced he is near fit yet. Didn’t look it when he subbed on last night

2 FT.....could do with correcting major wildcard snafu of not getting Pope in but will wait and see how this GW pans out first

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,698 ✭✭✭sheroman01

Also have no wiggle room with Martial and Rashford going up in price.

My plan was to bring them in for Son and Ings but not sure I want to do that now.

Could do Ings and DCL to Rashford and Connolly. Chance Connolly against Norwich, then play 4-4-2 after that, and upgrade Justin to Maguire. Only issue there is I need to make huge gains to catch main rival...and I feel going from 343 to 442 will limit that.

    I’m in a spot of bother. 2ft’s
    McCarthy (City next week), Martin,
Richie(possibly injured), Justin, Doherty, Robinson, TAA,
Mane, Bruno(120 minutes played) , Sarr (has been poor), Son, KDB
    Ings (Poor fixtures), Jimenez, Greenwood
Could FH, but then would lose the free transfers. Richie to AWB maybe.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,672 ✭✭✭ScummyMan

Is a ropey Man City defense with nothing to play for really that bad a fixture?

Justin has a good fixture so play him. Then use funds from Ritchie to upgrade Sarr.

    What about-
    McCarthy to DDG
    Ritchie to Lascelles

It'd pain me to use 2 FTs on defenders but would give you united coverage in defence, a set and forget GK for the run in,
Miss out on Southampton's tricky run (from clean sheet perspective)
And have a Newcastle defender for their next 2 decent fixtures.
    And save the free hit.

    Sarr or Grealish to Foden.

Probably Grealish out given his fixtures

Playing the WC. First draft of what will likely be a 4-5-1 formation:

    DDG

    Azpilicueta
    TAA
    Boly
    Aurier

    Martial
    Mahrez
    Salah
    Fernandes
    KDB

    Jiminez

    Martin, Connolly, Nketiah, Femenia

Happy with that and not sure I see it changing. I like the balance of teams. Possibly light on Liverpool only having two in there, but I would expect some rotation and the league is wrapped up now. I had planned on getting Robbo, but couldn't fit him in in the end.

3 United is a must imo, with cleany coverage - gone with DDG in the end as I don't think any of their defenders offer likely attacking returns. Happy to get Chelsea and Spurs representatives in there with their fixtures and something to play for, but there's not a lot of great options so light investment in defenders who have attacking potential seems wise.

Wolves are on a roll but the fixtures get harder, so Jiminez and Boly seems like a good balance. Couldn't justify the extra money on Doherty, though he has been f**king me non-stop for two years now so will prob make me pay!

City again happy with the balance. Can't go without KDB and Mahrez looks like he's going to get even more game time with Aguero out, and should play some minutes in every match with 5 subs.

Very cheap bench which is a bit risky maybe given the amount of rotation, but all of them are playing minutes and are capable of chipping in.

2FTs ... I feel like I need to get Salah in for Mane. Could easily (further) downgrade Robinson > Simpson to do it I guess but not sure if its a sideways move and waste of 2FT

I hoped to hang onto it for another 2-3 weeks if possible. No other chips left.

If i take a -4 I can field the following team

    Henderson

    Alonso, TAA, Lascelles

    Salah, KDB, Sterling, Cantwell

    Rashford, Auba, Greenwood

    * I quite fancy getting Jesus and Foden in for the remainder of the season

I'd like Rashford and/or Martial. Ideally for 2gws at least (BOU and villa). I have 2 FTs. Any advice on how to bring them in? Some options below but the players I'm transferring out could also score well! Do I really need either of them that badly I now wonder?...

    1. Jimi > Rashford
    2. Son > Martial
    3. Son, Ings > Martial, Rashford
    4. Son, DCL, Justin > Martial, Rashford, 4.5 def (-4 hit)

    Martinez, Button
    TAA, Doherty, Lascelles, Justin, Robinson
    Salah, Bruno, Son, KDB, Guendouzi
    Jimi, Ings, DCL

    Definitely not 1
Maybe 2 But I’d be hesitant
Maybe see if son is very wide again for spurs . If he is then i don’t think he is worth the guts of 10ml
3 maybe as well. Same reason as 2
    4. Don’t think I’d take a hit for it

There is only 6 GWS to go, we won’t have another DGW, so I don’t see why you are holding on to the WC to be honest.

I’m assuming if you are starting Cantwell and Nketiah that your bench is poor? I’d be using the WC this week tbh.

I'd use it now while teams have something to play for and you will have a better idea of who will play

Cheers for the feedback! My desperation for double United attack is maybe too much...and it could backfire! A possibly safer option is Ings+DCL out for Connolly+Rashford. I can go 442 then. And then double up on Wolves defence....or risk Aurier (risks are kinda needed now!).

Agree that Ings is in such great form, and I hate to sell him but I just see Rashford outscoring him over the next 2/3 games. I may well bring him back in for his last three games though!

I'm gonna bank with the intention of Swapping Fernandes for Mahrez and Nkietah for Greenwood next week but only if Greenwood impresses tonight and on Saturday. I think he will, I've been impressed so far.

That will leave me with 3 from United, City and Liverpool for the run in.

Have exact money for Auba/Saka to Ings/Bruno.. Hmmmm. For a hit though.

Even though he is playing poorly and on the wing, it's very hard to transfer out Rashford.

What are Bournemouth's penalty conceded stats like? United are due one! They get a lot of penalties.

I will have to get a playing DEF in tho as Williams is just a waste of a United player now. Thought he would have started tonight and got a clean sheet but a 1 pointer instead.

Bruno's taken the last three? How do we know there's a rotation policy? Since he joined I think he's taken every one when he's on the pitch.

Rashford was going to take the second penalty against Spurs, before VAR reversed the decision to award it. Both players were still on the field. Bruno took the first penalty.

Bruno was “fouled” for the penalty which apparently was the reason he was not going to take it

This weeks double transfer feels absolutely crucial to get right
I wonder am I overthinking Rashford
Might be safer just to get him

This is under serious serious consideration
It feels a bit of a reactive transfer though
Am I being too smart and should I just get Rashford as planned
    I dunno !
A forward line of Jiminez DCL and greenwood feels a bit light weight
I would get AWB if I get greenwood and rotate between 433 and 442 ......that’s asking for trouble with greenwood though ! When would I play him when would I bench him ........and I would still be stuck with Grealish !

Was considering the move to Greenwood before this evening's game and the performance this evening just confirmed the change for me. Probably would have made the move if he just avoided getting injured as he did look comfortable on the ball and a threat on goal in the game against Norwich I saw at the weekend. I think after scoring he is going into my team for the game against Bournemouth ahead of Calvert-Lewin against Spurs. The move also leaves me 2.1mill to upgrade someone else with next weeks free transfer.
