A lot of these are just funny pictures, rather than actual memes, IMO.

A meme is an idea, behavior, or style that spreads by means of imitation from person to person within a culture and often carries symbolic meaning representing a particular phenomenon or theme.

I think all of the above qualifies.

IMO it doesn't. Anchorman or Lebowski certainly "spread by means of imitation" and so would qualify. The spider dalmatian is cute and funny, but I wouldn't call it a meme.

It's only a bit of fun though, there are gifs, so funny pictures should qualify for this game.

Well unless that is the posters actual dog, it was spread by imitation, which is how we are seeing it.

Tbf I choose some of mine to use in situational "battles" which was how I thought this would play out. Basically, you post one randomly, from the match and then I choose one to go against it. And then it alternates..
