3 new DC chargers in NI.

InstaVolt have opened their first site in NI, located at the Strabane McDonalds, near the A5 Barnhill Road / Lifford Road roundabout. Complete with gold helium balloon. Their app shows 2x 160kW CCs / 60kW Chademo. One charger per space. Currently 75p/kWhr. To be confirmed but from the photo it appears to have tap to pay on both chargers.

Also one new charger in West Belfast. 60kW on the Weev network. CCS & Chademo.

There’s a notice in DLR Cabinteely Park that the charger will be removed shortly and not replaced. I’m a bit sad because there aren’t many free 22kW AC chargers left.

A similar message is displayed across all chargers in DLR parks administration. Cabinteely, Marlay and Fernhill. They said on FB that it is too expensive to maintain and will be looking at a tender to replaced them with CPO ran chargers.
