Hi, Im finding conflicting information about whether caffeine or coffee increase cortisol levels? is there specific signs or symptoms of high or low level? thanks

Caffeine increases cortisol secretion but there are a whole host of factors that determine the levels. Other stresses, age, body fat, time of day, tolerance to caffeine etc.

There is no simple relationship between caffeine levels and cortisol levels.
