Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Xbox one x and s console

    What is the difference between the xbox one x and the xbox one s ? Is it just that the xbox one x loads games faster

    There's a bit more to it than that. The xbox one x is designed to take advantage of 4k tvs. Virtually every aspect of it has been upgraded to achieve this and it is significantly more powerful as a result.

    Having said that, if you don't have a 4k TV and don't intend to buy one in the next year, there's no point in getting an xbox one x.

    The Xbox series X is also due out at Christmas. This will bring a generational leap in performance. So it might be worth getting the cheaper xbox one s for now to hold you over, if that's something you might be interested in.

    That is actually very incorrect. Even at 1080P the Xbox One X is significantly more powerful.

    People don't realise how low-spec the Xbox One base console is and what "4K" really means in terms of current gen consoles.

    A lot of games run at 720P-900P with middling settings on the base consoles.

    Playing many games on the One X will not only allow full 1080P, but better detail settings and higher/more stable framerates.

    It is well worth getting on a 1080P TV.

    The difference between a One X and One S on a 1080P set is more significant then the difference between a One X on a 1080P and 4K TV.

    Very few games run in native 4K anyway. Most are dynamic res, so realistically what you're getting is usually 1080P - 1440P at best.
