We've been very good so far but some areas are still reporting large clusters especially around meat processing plants. Yesterday we had 150 confirmed cases out of one plant in cork and similar in Tipperary the week before.
Now the problem is were allowing these towns to reopen with everywhere else on Monday morning, if the cases are so high with active clusters shouldn't they be staying closed with no restrictions lifted.
What hope have if we don't start to discriminate against towns/citys/villages with large active cases, enough of #wereinthistogether, #staythecourse, the spread is impossible to stop otherwise. #werenotequal, #timeforregionalrules, #discriminationftw.

Yeah, Dublin should be kept shut down seeing as it has 50% of the countries cases ;)

It doesn't now though, we've got big clusters in small places a lot easier control with a smaller population. Opening those areas is a bad idea, they should be given a 2 week extension for being bold and potentially screwing things up for everyone.

Lol OP must have been watching Outbreak last night

Quarantining towns and villages with the army

Honestly thought this thread had sound reasoning by the title

    Discrimination

    Yes that should happen immediately

Let the young and healthy ( below 50 ) out to enjoy the summer and get immune for winter

Over 50s who the virus kills mostly, wait for a vaccine, stay inside

Exactly, probably cheaper put boulders on the roads so you can't drive outside the area.
