One of my favorite ones in English is Hello Internet, it mostly just compiles podcasts that I believe were originally posted in iTunes. I find they way they discuss a wide variety of topics is quite enjoyable.

So the reason I'm opening this thread is coz I'm looking for new ones to listen to/watch. I become very easily disappointed and hate any extent of click-bait, like I remember I used to enjoy Nathaniel Drew's videos but then I started to get the feeling that it was all about getting visits and that put me off his channel.

    What are your recommendations?

I find Patrick Wieland funny. He's a day trader, but he goes off the wall some times. Hilarious channel

Also there is this guy Charlie Hopkinson mashing up Lord of the Rings scenes with brexit. Covid-19 etc. Funny stuff

Mike Mitchell for the machinery he's driving, some very expensive stuff. He's just wacky enough to be very entertaining but he really does know his stuff.
Best of all he's not afraid to call out some of the manufacturers if he thinks something is a piece of sh1t.

Is there anything really worth looking at on YouTube?

Anything I look at either has really bad background music that ruins the content, or full of annoying ads, or some obnoxious person shouting into the camera.

Yes loads of good archive footage from topics, and guides on how to fix any issues with your home and car..it's a fantastic resource when you cut out the bull**** vloggers (apart from bald and bankrupt).

If you're into classic cars try Harry's Garage or Iain Tyrrell's classic workshop

    No shouting or screaming.

I preferred YouTube when it was mostly funny videos and wrestling mishaps, with some music too. That’s going back a bit in fairness.

No interest in nobodies taking ****e or idiots shouting while playing video games.

    And so many ads.

Geekdom101 or WorldofGeekdom depending on your channel of preference.

Literally went from homeless to being a home owner in 10 years.

Even if you don't like his Dragon Ball content the Speakdoms are very inspirational and thought provoking.

Here's one for these uncertain times:

    Inspiring? Youtube content creators?

Jesus no... Vast majority is throw away rubbish that I'd watch whilst eating a bowl of cereal to waste a few minutes or some high level players of games I like in order to try and git gud but I wouldn't put inspiring and youtube together. It's a load of fake shyte for the most part.

Tom Scott has some really good knowledgable stuff on his main channel. Lots of good, interesting short videos.

Colin Furze does some great things . His bunker he built in his back garden is something else.

Both of these worked together years ago on a sky one show called gadget geeks. A show I'd forgotten about and forgotten who was in it till I'd been watching both their channels for a few months without realising their connection to each other for the show.

And Project Binky, Bad Obsession Motorsport
