    Hi all,

From time to time (on my Win 10 laptop using Chrome browser) every few months I click on a website and all of a sudden it pops into a confetti type scenario saying I've won some sort of random raffle type deal, see below. It's usually a website I'm visiting for the first time.

I never click on the button to accept the "prize" and always run a mile from the site which I've always assumed was somehow hacked but am now wondering if maybe there's a problem with my laptop/software?

Anyone else experienced this? Any ideas what causes it and more importantly how to avoid it?

I have Win Defender and Firewall etc all set up and updated etc.

Adware. Download ADWCleaner and give a scan, no harm in downloading Malware bytes and fully scanning your computer while your at it.
