    While everybody is looking in one direction. Should those who are clever be looking behind the scenes and avoid mass hysteria?


    I'm not calling COVID-19 a hoax. People have, AND ARE, dying.


    So all I'm saying is.....while we are all talking about this. Are we being distracted?


    What laws have been passed in the last month?
    Why is North Korea no longer a nuclear horror threat?


    Ask a bunch of other questions?

    If you just consume rte you'd think we're doing just great. We're not doing great though, we have among the worst rates of deaths per capita.

    No stealth laws. Obtrusive policing and restrictions that violate human rights. An element of people being a bit too keen to accept everything and a bit too unquestioningly supportive of lour leaders.

    I perceive some mass manipulation but the only objective I seeis gaining compliance. I disagree with some of the measures but I think they are made in earnest. I think achieving compliance is a major factor in how they are introducing and discussing measures. I hate the blunt instrument that is the 2km restriction and I think there is auch stronger case for the use of masks.

    They aren't tricking us into anything except for complying with emergency measures. They still suck a bit though.
