How to remove a charging port-soldering iron?-Galaxy Tab A6

    Does anyone know how to remove the charging port from a galaxy tab a6? I've removed the motherboard from the case and have the replacement part all ready
    I thought it was a simple matter of applying some heat from soldering iron on reverse of port and it can be removed but it doesnt seem to budge.

    Am I missing something?

    TIA folks.....
