    People need to look at whats happening in Hungary/poland/that phone tracking in Asia/sh1tbag companies getting bailed out on the backs of real people. This sh1te is getting worse and worse. Covid is a golden opportunity to tighen the grip, it will happen.

    I would not put it pass out Govt to use it in this way yes. We do need to be careful. I am not suggesting we don't need to lockdown etc we do.

    However the guards are getting up my nose.

    Also the crowds screaming more lockdown lets rat our neighbors for touching to the cops etc are quite frankly mad. They are also the same crowd screaming at anyone who questions why the govt isn't adding the german test no to the daily total and at anyone critical of how the govt is handling things.

    Its not the leftists its the rightests.

    The countries you cited were already becoming detached from the norms of accountable democracy. So no change there really.
