    Thanks OP.

Like many, I've taken up running in the absence of footy.
Just paid €51(inc delivery) for a pair of runners that started life at 120.

    Bargain alerts strikes again! :pac:

    Pegasus? - Great shoe.

Been running in them since 2013, have never gone wrong. I go through bout 2 pairs a year, and just always replenish when there's an offer on somewhere.

And have also gotten 1st May delivery date.

I ordered stuff on the 25/03, told me delivery would be the 10/04. It arrived on 02/04. They could be just giving themselves some breathing room

Yeah delivery is usually a lot quicker than the date given on order

The Nike delivery times are awful at the moment. 3 weeks wait for a delivery I got this morning. Also using DPD which adds another few days wait.

Well deduced, sir! Great to hear a good review. I've been running in an ancient pair of flat 40 quid nikes so anything will be an upgrade.

A lot of new runners about these days inspired by stuff like this...

Just picked up a pair of Vomeros at 68 euro, delighted, wanted to get these bad boys for quite a while now. Thanks OP!

Ordered 27/28 March, not even been dispatched yet. In no rush, expect long delays and am delighted if it turns up at all at the minute.

How did you get so much off?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,230 ✭✭✭fitzparker

Did anyone order when nike had the 25% off deal up a few weeks ago?

I did and was told id get them by the 20th. Then the other day the money got refunded, so presumed it was cancelled so I ordered a different pair yesterday. now this morning I got confirmation that the original have been dispatched...

I'll wait and see what happens. I'm sure the money will come back out of my account when it does arrive. when the second order arrives I'll decide which to send back

The runners had already been reduced from 120 to 72.
    Extra 30% then off that.

I ordered stuff in the 25% sale , all have arrived bar 1 item which is yet to be dispatched, haven’t been charged for it yet!

Also if you bought stuff in 25% sale be no harm getting onto customer care, they refunded the extra 5% difference for the new code yesterday for me (got nearly €20 refund):)

Perfect timing. Ordered a pair of Pegasus too...but also 6 pairs of socks not in the sale. Goddammit?!

Only thing I can think of is you have some non sale items in your basket?
The discount is 30% (not €30) off sale items only.

Ordered Odyssey React Flyknit 2, 55 quid. Controversial colour though with the pink!

I normally buy the Pegasus but I might try something else, what’s the epic react like to wear?

Bought a pair of winflo6 for little over 50 quid, good value.
Normally retail in B&M between 60 and 80 E, so not a bad deal, but be aware they are advertised for 100 E, which is a little OTT.
Ruined it all then by buying other ****e like shorts 😒

Did anyone else run into trouble at the checkout?

I have tried two different cards but keep getting an error. No post code issue either.

My address was saved at a Dublin address so changed to my new one in wexford

But for some reason when the order went through the address read as

    Wexford
    Dublin 4

Even though its saved as just wexford in my saved address.

Hopefully doesnt run into trouble and be sent back

I have had that issue in the past, just re-enter my details as if it's a new card and it goes through then

Yes. Nike site is a nightmare for checkout.
I find I have to have all my cards handy as it will randomly refuse some.

For example, the other day it refused my UB, Avantcard, PayPal but my wife flew through checkout with her EBS card.

At times before, it’s been the opposite.

Came in to ask if anyone else was having hassle at checkout. At least it isn't just me.

Trying to buy a deadly pair of runners and just can't get through checkout. I've tried PayPal and two different cards. Cleared cache and cookies, the whole shabang and still getting same error.

every company is slow to deliver now because there are less planes in the sky etc, my eta was 1st of may and another pair the 7th of may

I received a parcel from Amazon this morning that wasn't due in till Wednesday, I was very surprised to get it on a bank holiday.

I just opened up the flight radar app and it looks like business as usual regarding aircraft transport, the skies are full of traffic.

5% air traffic compared to normal since the pandemic going by the news, the only thing flying over my way now is a flight to stanstead and a dhl plane
I got a parcel in a few days from amazon too but Nike are not based in Ireland or the U.K. so it will take longer and they have sent everyone an eta on The email

I was just giving an example of a delivery arriving earlier than expected.

I'm eyeballing a pair of Air Max but they aren't out until Saturday morning, of course the sale is over... :/

It was an extra 30% items already on sale, yours sounds like a new item, so wouldn't have been on sale anyway. I believe Nike give 25% off everything in your birth month if that's anywhere close

They aren't fake, offspring is owned by office.co.uk

When I saw the price I though it was kids prices but its not that is an excellent price for them.

3rd pair in 2 weeks. I need help

use the zoom function and look at the cheap ones, they are fake imo

It's a markedly lower resolution image.

Offspring are a big enough operation and part of Nike's distribution channels. If they were flogging knock offs I don't imagine they'd stay in business too long.
