Bumblebee rescue

    Lots of people know this trick already but no harm mentioning it again.

    I went into my shed today and there was a bumblebee caught up in some old cobwebs and other debris. Dunno how long it was there, but it was fairly shagged out.

    Put it on a flagstone outside and made up a sugar/water solution. Poured the mix on the stone. Tried to coax the bee over to it, but it was having none of it. A few more try's and it finally copped on and got stuck in.

    Waited a while and figured another brew was needed so did that and another feed commenced. About 10 mins later, off it went. Absolute Result :) Works with smaller bees too.
