Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A man wrestling a bear on the Late Late in 1984, it really went downhill after that moment.

Just watching that. Never knew Nick Cave did the LLS. What year was that I missed a bit,.

Very good interview with Mo Mowlam as well. Gaybo chilled out and having the crack. Tubbs couldn't wire his mic.

Nick Cave was 1998 - Gay said in the intro it was to promote his Best of... which came out in May of that year.

Really enjoyed both shows, pity that seems to be all they're doing!

Joanna Donnelly on the 6-1 Weather got herself twisted into knots trying to avoid saying the N word**

"The British Met Office have issued a thunderstorm warning for N ... the six counties, eh ... Derry Antrim Fermanagh, Tyrone etc ..."

** Northern Ireland. There is a link to the RTE player clip of the weather forecast there should you wish to watch several adverts and then have the page crash over and over again and ultimately give up not having seen the video

Armagh and Down were the mystery counties which eluded Joanna tonight.

Watching Snooker with canned applause seems weird, at least the Late Late Show and things like it haven't been silly enough to add canned laughter/applause to their broadcasts.

They should put some random coughing sounds in to give it the classic Crucible vibe.

‘Police Academy’ on ITV4 right now.

The recruitment process is very similar to how we elected our government.

Boris Johnson - the guy that makes sound effects with his mouth.
    Jacob Rees Mogg - Fackler
    Michael Gove - Tackleberry

    And so forth :)

Think it would be better if they played a mobile ringtone when a player is leaning on the table, they then get up and give daggers to some invisible man in the crowd and then the ref tells them to turn it off.

I suppose in the current PC/Snowflake world you could never make a Police Academy film like previously ever again.

Back on Friday Week for Series 60

I miss the director showing close ups of hot women in the studio audience during the show

Maybe they could splice short clips of those girls into the inevitable deluge of zoom interviews this year ?

Well, all I know is, there's some crazy ass mask shìt going on, thanks to Bill Gates (naturally, or so I've heard) and there's only one Corr I need to hear from to clear the whole thing up.

The rest of them can just sit there silently. SILENTLY.

I remember Jim in 2001 with a bag over his head for a full interview, unlike his beautiful sisters

They are quite nice, but I think they have missed an opportunity to have a stamp with a picture of Ted kicking Len Brennan up the arse.

"That money was just resting in my account" would be a nice one to send to Revenue if you owed them a few hundred k.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,673 ✭✭✭✭Ol' Donie

They should do matching John & Mary ones. You could use them to encourage people to reply to your letter.

    For example:

The "You've a face like a pair of tits" stamp would be replied to with the "At least that's one pair between us" one.

I'm gonna watch a few mins of this.

Probably not for the right reasons.

Edit: Turned over to it. It's ads. If course it is. Good ol' TV3.

    Mrs Brownes sktech.

    Gary Barlow
    Kodaline
    The Coronas.

Cut to Ronan Keating set up to sing sitting at a piano.

And wresting his elbows on it's closed lid.

    Exceptional.

Just a heads up for The Optimists a Russian TV drama 13 parts about the Soviet diplomacy business in the 60s. Dunno if any Irish channels have shown it but BBC Alba have it, first episode is on right now but they repeat it on Sundays at 10.45. It looks worth the watch. Stars Vladimir Vdovichenkov (Leviathan) and Severija Janusauskaite (Babylon Berlin).

the Alba screening does have English subs as standard! :)

Yeah what's that about? England are at home is there some reason for the blue?

White is the better choice for Ireland Vs blue though if England were going that way regardless
