Accept that it's going to be a lot longer than 2 weeks and gradually adjust to the restrictions.

I have an instrument in the spare room that I barely know how to play. I mean, just 30 mins a day should see decent progress if I start tomorrow right? Or else I could play FIFA....

Yeah, I don't think I'm most people's idea of fun..
I'm close to the epicenter of the outbreak..
But yeah, the years putting together the studio and the library have finally paid off..

Is there an instrument you could recommend to anyone total music novice?

I expect Woodies, B&Q and all other reputable merchants of DIY products sales to be on the up now.

I’m “working from home” for the foreseeable, so I’ll be ripping out my bathroom and replacing it. **** all else to do, apart from “working”.

I think "Murder She Wrote" would be enough to push me over the edge.

    Nonsense, it's a fine drama.

A fine drama altogether, so it is.

I tell you what, I’d imagine if Jessica Fletcher got the Coronavirus you’d see a lot less murders in Cabot Cove.

Seriously guys, rather than start a thread whenever you have a "brainwave" have a look at the threads already here to see if there is already a similar thread, particularly on inane topics

    Threads merged

God forbid anyone would get to have a bit of craic during a difficult time.
