Just a thought really - But any Business that stockpiles products to later sell at unfairly inflated prices is basically taking that same product out of the reach of decent Business that are trying to serve their Customers and make an honest decent living.

These are people that are preying on peoples anxieties in the middle of a Global health emergency to turn a dishonest profit - This is really poor by any measure.

If a Shop or Service Provider takes the opportunity to callously rip people off through price gouging shouldn't they just be dealt with by people opting to boycott them in future?

What do ye think people ?!

The thread in CA suggests it's the manufacturers doing this, or at least it's happening at the worse before it gets to the retailer. I'm sure they put a little on top too, but in the CA thread someone who works in that industry (bag of salt) is alleging it's happening before retail. Something along the lines of they're making retailers bid for items, and his crowd bid 300% of the original cost and it didn't even come close to the winning bid.

The biggest problem with this situation, and the biggest problem to humanity to begin with, is humans.
