Came up in conversation the crane count in Cork (via Twitter) is 7. Does anyone have a number for Dublin, Galway and Limerick?

I think dublin is over a hundred... the irish times did a crane count each month, up to just less than a year ago. March 2019, dublin had 123 cranes!!!

There are none in Limerick city, but there is one on the outskirts that's been sitting there unused for years. This will hopefully change in the near future with the Project Opera site development and a few other developments in planning.
