Not going to be usual Friday night stroll, which should make for an entertaining game. Think we have too much up front for them, but I’d expect them to score a few tries with that back line.

Lovely hands from Cronin and Fardy.

Kicking straight to Lowe seems like a winning strategy.

Boys vs men so far. Completely dominating.

Dooley is making a step this year. Loved that hand off 5 yards out just to keep his ground.

That was one of the most ridiculous trains off the back of a ruck I've seen for McGrath's botched kick, surely there has to be a point that it can be said the player is no longer bound to the ruck when there's three lads tailed back

Pete Horne is an appalling player.

Normal crowd or you think a few people have stayed away?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,300 ✭✭✭✭razorblunt

Owens happy to call advantage over for Glasgow with a pass behind their own line under pressure but bring it back earlier for Lowe’s poor clearance.

    He’s also coaching constantly.

    Fardy and Lowe. Unreal.

There was completely different situations presented to him. He called over for Glasgow when they threw a big skip pass to expose an overlap and open space. Lowe hacked a poor kick away with defenders in front of him when he called it back.

They're getting a lot quicker at putting these clips up now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 741 ✭✭✭damianmcr

    Loads of empty seats there?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,375 ✭✭✭✭prawnsambo

Fardy's turn now. Bonus point just before the break. 24-7.

The pace and power we are attacking with tonight is phenomenal.

Very impressive from Leinster, not perfect by any means but they’re not letting it affect their game.

In the north stand and there’s no more empty seats than there would be for any other game during the 6 nations period.

Scott Fardy plays the role Munster and Ireland want POM to play, but one he hasn't the skillset for. Fardy hangs out near the touchline on certain plays, powers through a tackle and uses his hands to offload.

I’d argue both were “under pressure”, fair enough if he called after the Glasgow kick.

Terrible poor defence to allow Glasgow in. Very soft

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,941 ✭✭✭jacothelad

Liam Toland is a pointless gas bag.

Who is Glasgow’s main sponsor?? Just looks like it’s blurred out. Impossible to read.

Great try, great passing and great gas James Lowe.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,710 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

A brilliant steal from Connors, sensational step and carry from Baird to start that up. It was an excellent handoff.from Lowe, but Huw Jones attempts at a tackle we've very poor.

I don't think it was after the Glasgow kick. But it was when the ball had been passed to a player in a very advantageous position which Lowe wasn't in.

You can see a knock on advantage there in the second half where he didn't call advantage over for Glasgow until they made about 15m through a few phases i.e. a genuine advantage was adjudged to have taken place from the point of the knock on.

that lad Baird is some athlete

Lowe is great but still makes some really sloppy errors with ball in hand. I'm not as convinced as many that he's going to walk into the Irish team.

The Scottish equivalent of the ESB.

Byrne looks about 30 too. General play is quite composed and smooth. Seems able to take some poor ball on, go into contact and make ground. Far more athletic than the brother.

He looks like the brother's slightly more shady twin.
