New post notification * glitch

Hi, this is not a big issue, just an odd occurrence... The new post/unread thread notification asterisk * for the Genealogy forum doesn't seem to be functioning properly (on my profile page, not on the forum itself). Clicking the "mark this forum read" button in the Genealogy forum only momentarily removes the asterisk…

Hi, this is not a big issue, just an odd occurrence...

The new post/unread thread notification asterisk * for the Genealogy forum doesn't seem to be functioning properly (on my profile page, not on the forum itself).

Clicking the "mark this forum read" button in the Genealogy forum only momentarily removes the asterisk from 'my [followed] forums' dropdown menu. Otherwise the unread thread * continually stays on, regardless of NO new posts. Genealogy seems to be the only forum with this issue - every other forums' unread thread/new post notification works correctly.
