    Hi

Any idea how to unroot a S8, AIB/Google Pay + other apps no longer work.

I've tried a few methods unsuccesfully with apps to hide the root so was thinking of ust reverting back to stock samsung firmware or the likes.

If you want to have Google Pay on an unrooted phone, you'll have to flash the stock firmware and relock the bootloader, which will factory reset the phone and delete all your data

Boardsie Enhancement Suite - a browser extension to make using Boards on desktop a better experience (includes full-width display, keyboard shortcuts, dark mode, and more). Now available through your browser's extension store.

I use Google pay and other banking apps including AIB on a rooted device.
Use Magisk hide and also, rename the app via Magisk settings.

Would be very surprised if that didn't work.

As other poster has mentioned, to de-root you lose all data and will re-lock the bootloader.

Long time since I've played around with Samsung but it used to be simply flashing stock FW via Odin.

Samknows or XDA will have plenty of info to guide you.

can you expand what you mean regarding rename?

I've tried the app with limited success
