So my job is finishing up at the end of the month. My employer has offered me another job in their sister company but its not something I'm interested in. I was reading on the citizens information site that you're entitled to redundancy if your company closes and you're offered an alternative job. Is that only the case if you haven't done that particular job before? I worked their before when things were quite, but I hated it and have no intention of going back. Am I entitled to redundancy for the years I've worked with my current company?
