Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Great stuff from Herring

About time the Scots got done at a ruck. Gray just flops in from the side

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,064 ✭✭✭Christy42

My word Scotland tried a bit to blatantly to seal off the ruck. Even this ref wasn't going to miss that

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

That’s the third clear bad decision from this ref against us. Not even questionable decisions.

If we keep the ball, we can cause problems. Simple really.

Certainly looks like we want to be more adventurous and attacking

At least we gain another 3 points. There must be something in our tea to make us go this lucky.

EDIT: Oh. I spoke too soon.

Getting beaten up in the front 5 and its very hard to win a game when that happens , doesn’t matter who is at 9 or any other back position.
Still hoping cooney gets on at half time but not because Murray is sh1te

I'm liking what we've seen from our centres. Aki is distributing more and Ringrose being given license to probe for gaps in defence.

I don't think our line speed has been up to snuff generally, but we've been very good at knowing when to commit to a ruck and force a turnover. Some vital ones in our 22. I'd also like to see our forwards run onto the ball rather than staying in static pods when receiving the pass.

Centres have been excellent in attack.

Phew. That was a huge TO from Stander.

Try saver by stander. And full marks to Henderson for getting back in defense

Great line from Aki and great turnover from CJ.

    Get Murray off now.

    What a tackle by Henderson

How can anyone justify Murrays inclusion in this team

Stander motm so far. Sexton, Herring excellent.

POMs best game since 2018. Ryan and VDF getting through heaps of work.

Scotland pretty solid. Can they keep it up!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,064 ✭✭✭Christy42

Christ Murray and Sexton trying to make that more interesting than it needed to be

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,722 ✭✭✭✭Squidgy Black

    Have to say.

The backrow of Stander, VdF and POM have been playing well.

One of our best players over the last few years. Does everything needed from a back rower. Can never understand the criticism. Durable too, rarely not available for selection.

That took an absurd amount of time to win the penalty

    Murray has been very poor.

2nd half of this game should suit Larmour better. He’s running into a lot of scots at the moment

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,145 ✭✭✭DellyBelly

We are lacking a bit of leadership out there. Hopefully Farrell can turn it around

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,233 ✭✭✭ClanofLams

Poor half from Murray. Interesting to see how soon Farrell subs him - he should be off at half time really.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,332 ✭✭✭theVersatile

Jesus Christ lads, it was a good read by Hastings. Sexton way too wide and flat anyways, but sure let's jump on Murray's back.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,922 ✭✭✭KH25

Id be taking Murray off, but it’s not just him playing poorly. We have looked very sloppy.

You think sexton would get that kick out of play, same mistake as against NZ

He's not doing too badly. That intercept try was a bit floaty but that aside, he's doing well.

Would still like to see Cooney on though.

Last couple of years that has been mostly true BUT he's having a good game today.

That was actually a good half by Murray except for that intercept at the end :/
