    Hey guys,
Foolishly thought I could get a personal loan to cover the balance of a boat. Anyone have any recommendations for a boat finance company? Cheers

You can get a personal loan for any purpose cant you? Did a bank reject you based on the fact that you wanted to use it on a boat? Or for finance/income reasons?

Yeah I asked why they wanted to know what my personal loan was for and they said that they can't lend for boats. They probably figure I'll be living on it so might have to rethink the reason!!
    Cheers

You could have done alright. personal loans arent usually secured against the prospective purchase which is why the rates are high.

You could take one out for "home improvements" maybe
