The pay must be good for your reply, but it still won't get you laid, Marxist

Can't imagine anyone thinking it would be ok.

Do you think it might happen in the case of this election?

Doesnt matter who wins or loses, they are all pigs that eat form the same trough and they will all sing from the German Hymn sheet.

How come? This isn't Venezuela in fairness. Or Northern Ireland pre 1968.

I dont suppose you remember Bertie on the news, looking forward to getting an instant voting result because it would take all the stress out of the day? Bertie was great though. He have the whole software contract to one company that included the Alpha and Beta testing along with the Debug.

    Some man.

Why is it obvious that there's a plan to rig the election? By whom?

I don't know if there are lots of paid posters here - maybe there are, but people simply supporting a party aren't necessarily being paid to do so - they just support a party. What was it about that person's post that makes them look like they're being paid though? Doesn't look like they're affiliated with a specific party. Think they were just being sarcastic. Not sure how they were being Marxist either.

FF top the poll with 102% of the vote. Bertie Ahern re-elected despite not standing in any constituency.

Its obviously Denis OBrien. Governments in this country change but Denis OBrien gets his contracts (Esat, Portakabin, Water and the new reservoir in the midlands). That is what is important. To think that himself and Michael O Leary were only collecting glasses at the Bilderberg Conference a few years back.

People who simply question you aren't being paid. It happens all the time on discussion forums in relation to any topic. I haven't even mentioned a political party (as I'm completely ambivalent to all of them) and surely if I was a shill I'd be mentioning a party or candidate

But anyway, how is it obvious that there's election rigging going on? And by whom?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,816 ✭✭✭skooterblue2

Actually I am not a marxist, I am more of a disillusioned Nationalist. I have given up on democracy and think we should go back to the monarcy and at least we would know who we were dealing with.

You've made some very good points. You're being trolled by idiots so best to ignore them as no salient or relevant points will be forthcoming. There'll be no vote-rigging but there'll not be much to cheer either come Feb 9th.

They hand out those positions and fake doctorates to all and sundry, even Roy Keane has one. I am guessing I am a bit slow off the blocks.

Jesus when you say it like that it all makes sense.

She rigged the election in Trump's favour so that, 4 years later, she would be appointed to a university position and make a documentary. Her evil plan is all coming together muahahaha

Cheers. It's only one person though and I don't think they're trolling - I think they genuinely believe what they're saying. But it's based on a feeling they have - absolutely zero evidence, and not even any mention as to who it is that's going to be rigging the votes. Yet stated as fact.

Not sure how H. Clinton having a documentary out/being appointed university chancellor has anything to do with alleged votes rigging in 2016 either.

What democracy? we are ruled by Germany via Brussels. Hence I want to go back to a church backed Monarchy so at least I know who I will be ruled by. ie The Rotheschilds

It's a nice conspiracy theory but I'm not getting paid by anybody. That's a ridiculous accusation. Not as ridiculous as the low rates for 2 week stays in Centerparcs, but still pretty ridiculous

I think the Rotheschild thing is dead, they haven't a clue if the world is global places like Singapore n Thailand where they have a dharma concept will blow the west away, ironically Irish traditional culture is similar so we'd be best in place to embrace our own thousands of years of heritage

The only thing I can think of is from hearing actual canvassers and online there's a serious paranoia on a lot of Sinn Féins part that FG and FF are conspiring to rig the election to keep them out. As it's obvious to the dogs in teh street they are a cert to win a majority and anything but that is due to subversive efforts by FF and FG

Then on the other side there is FF/FG hard core voters who are convinced SF run paid "farms" to constantly promote SF and bash the main parties online.

I'm sure every party in every nation probably has paid shills at his stage,

But I'd agree most if it is just people can't believe others have different opinions to them so it has to be a "paid shill"

Same craic as blaming the Russians cause the vote didn't go our way craic really

The amount of people in society that are too lazy or absent minded to even put a full-stop or question mark at the end of their sentences... but then want to be given the responsibility of maintaining a modern democracy! ;)

We'll be grand OP - you just keep your eyes on the road and your wheels out of the dirt - leave this to the big boys. They've got it covered. :D
