Ive been weighing much heavier over the last 6 months, I went from 8 stone to my current weight 9.5 stone - the heaviest ive ever been. I havnt noticed my body getting bigger and im still comfortably wearing size 8 clothes.
I eat mostly healthy but eat allot of sugar and get about 3 hours a week exercise.
I dont mind gaining weight, always felt a bit too skinny but wondering why im staying the same size despite being heavier?
    Anyone know why?

First you need to establish that the weight you're recording is actually correct. You need to weigh yourself under the same conditions each time. Generally first thing in the morning before eating and after using the bathroom is most accurate. If you weigh yourself at different times you will have other factors at play like water and food in your stomach.

Secondly, if you have been following a resistance training programme then the added weight could be muscle. It's not uncommon for beginners to lose fat but gain enough muscle that they actually end up gaining weight overall.
