Liverpool again look likely to grind out a win

To be fair, nothing wrong with that team. On another week it could score 70+

That would have been Bobby (Mane). Would have been perfect for me. I didn’t see the foul

Hate those kind of decisions, why don't they ban challenges on keepers altogether

Typical of my week to have bobby

So the goal is ruled out, but DDG yellow for complaining stands... yet a few weeks ago Soyuncy had a yellow wiped out as VAR intervened, how is that a fair system? Had the ref got the first decision correct, DDG wouldn't have been complaining.

    Bobby goal

You are allowed jump for the goal. Even Neville agreed and he was right, no arms from VVD

    DDG booked

Joke of a decision on the Firmino goal. I'd be raging if I was an owner

You don't know what he said to the ref.

Dissent is dissent, a foul which didnt count due to an offside is different

Soys yellow card was rescinded because Ings was offside, DDG was booked for dissent, which was stupid as it was by going to be checked anyway.

Dissent is dissent, a foul which didnt count due to an offside is different

But the reason for dissent, surely has to play some part? If the ball had of being defected out for a corner in that instance, there would have been no VAR check... and so the ref's mistake wouldn't have been highlighted

But given it went in the goal, VAR overruled the ref to tell him he was wrong. Therefore surely the ref has to understand that he made a mistake and hence why DGG reacted.

Ok on the Soys yellow, had he made a dangerous tackle, i.e. warrant a red card - would the ref be forced to give nothing, simple because ings was offside?

Edit: it was only checked because it was a goal, had it went for a corner it wouldn't have been checked. and i'm sure he would have given out as well.

    Wiji goal disallowed

    It’s one nil though
They have clicked into gear a bit now alright to be fair
My focus was/is mainly on salah and whether I’ll buy him or Roberson so this is skewing it Cos salah has been very quiet

I'd hate to add up all the points VAR cost me this season. :(
tbf it did save me cleanies but not often

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,191 ✭✭✭✭Shanotheslayer

More interested in trying to run a score up against United maybe. Lack of Rashford hurts their counter threat too.
