Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Darryl Zanuck must be turning in his grave.

But not as much as William Fox.

Ergh. I presume they'll just swap the "fox" for "pictures" in the logo and keep the fanfare.

Next stop, the Paramount Decree then Disney can complete its takeover of Hollywood entertainment. At least in America.

Their profits must be unreal at this stage.

The music fanfare will remain, I was thinking about this and they are actually correct to do this.
When the man who became known as William Fox founded a film studio I doubt he imagined it's name - his name would be used to give brand awareness to a right wing "news" propaganda channel.

By ditching Fox Disney have removed that link with Fox News and Fox Corporation and it's doings.

Saw one comment saying they should've rebranded as "20th Century Mouse"

Any excuse to post the creepy variation on the fanfare, from Alien 3:

    Couple of bits of tivia:

20th Century Fox was actually the result of a merger between 20th Century Pictures and Fox Films.

In the industry, they've always been "20th" and not "Fox" for short.
