Built in Sat tuner in a 4k tv

Is there a difference in image quality, latency etc between using the built in Sat tuner in a mid range 4k tv or my Amico Mini combo extra via HDMI ? This 4k tv only permits PVR on the Saorview tuner, copyright issues it states.
