Clicked on Facebook marketplace and there’s a lot of women selling dresses.
Usually pretty revealing dresses. It’s a bit unusual that there’s so many of them. Is there something else for sale?

Just to note, I clicked on to a transit van for sale! These came up in recommended!
All different sellers. Just to be clear, I’ve never gone dress shopping :)

I only said what the implication was. No need to turn it into metoo.

    I don’t actually think they’re hoors, they’re just narcissists.

You are not going to sell a dress by making it look like a dogs dinner. The fashion industry wouldn't have models if that were the case.

    It's not always narcissism.

A lot of sites that sell dresses use photos exactly like that.

All they are selling is a red dress.

The point i am making is that most online dress stores use pictures that are the same as those FB pages selling used dresses.

IVROSE is the site i posted is a legit fashion site.

This is from pretty little thing.

Its more so you know what looks good. What is visually appealing.

That matters more to women than men. We like more color etc. We tend to worry about interior design and the way things look around us.

    We are fussier. :)

That red dress picture is a model being paid to wear that dress for a site that sells fashion called IVROSE.

In that case its just her job.

Women do not want men to send them dick pics.

    Women like pretty things. :)

Very rich companies spend huge amounts of money researching the female brain ....to make money. They have come up with what sells to women the most.

Facebook Marketplace Dress sales is a great place for getting the ride.

Easiest way is, look for 2nd hand wedding dresses.
Sure sign she's on the way to a divorce.
It has the added benefit that you can sort by size ;)

They're second hand dresses on marketplace, if some other women wants the clap or look like a neon light, go ahead purchase them.

    Why?

    Why?

    Bacteria.
The kinds of germs that can remain in clothing and washing machines include staphylococcus, E. coli, hepatitis A, norovirus, rotavirus, and salmonella. Gerba did a study where he tested washing machines: Over 60% tested positive for coliform bacteria and 20% for Staphylococcus

Its not just underwear that is found to have traces of feces and genital infections it's trousers too.

Most germs can survive on fabrics for some time even after being washed. Sports clothes and clothes used in food prep are most high risk. They need to be washed at high temp with a bleach based product that is also an anti bacterial laundry detergent. A lot of clothes labels will give other instructions though for low temp only washing etc.

Obv if its yourself ..you know when you have been ill that you need to do a full thorough wash of all your clothes and bedlinen with something a little tougher than usual. Ideally we should wash clothes like this all the time. But the color tends to fade in some things.

I like to always wash on about 60 degrees though. With the proper detergent. I am a CLEAN FREAK tho!

But other people have other germs that will colonize your skin and you don't know how healthy they were or how they cared for their clothing.

Plus in charity shops ...BAGS of clothes are often stored together for weeks waiting to be put out they are all mixed together.

I volunteered in charity shops. The clothes are rarely washed. Often just put out.

I have been in charity shops where you can smell the B.O.

In all honesty I think that's all very silly. It's not essential to do any of that - if it were then how did people survive before washing machines and modern detergents? My mother is 50 and she grew up handwashing clothes, it's not that long ago that these things weren't common in every household

I have always bought clothes from charity shops or second hand, I have never ever been sick from it. I just wash them before I wear them. What you're describing seems like overkill to me and it could be argued that you would quicker make yourself sick from doing that. If you are that hygienic then your immune system will have a hard time developing any antibodies as it is not regularly exposed to common pathogens, regardless of whether or not they're coming off clothes. Plus washing at 60 all the time is bad for the environment as it's an unnecessary use of energy to do something that could as easily be done at a lower temperature.

You don't need to use something tougher with bedclothes after being sick - yes, you wash them well because when you're sick you're a sweaty mess so they need to be cleaned, but once an infection has run its course you've built up immunity to that pathogen. You won't catch it "again" from your own bedclothes.

I'm not being critical for the sake of it or having a go at you, I just think that is all really unnecessary and a bit silly, to be blunt. I couldn't live with that!
