    Feel ok.

Bench is a bit strong, so i'll be downgrading for funds this or next week.

    Good luck all.

Am I missing something here? Your bench costs sod all? Lundstram and Kelly are bargain basement (4m), dependable and give you a return most weeks. I wouldn't touch them. You never know when a player might be rested, injured, his wife calves etc and just simply doesn't show. It's always useful to have cheap, playing alternatives, especially if there's a rotten fixture for one of your first 11. It's not like your bench has Salah, kane and Sterling wasting away either.

Surprised to get a (small) red arrow with (just) having Lundstram playing

I got a green arrow with Lund and Fab, literally 1 point more returned. Jumped about 5k places.

    Ha. Sweet.

    Coffee and croissants so.

Snodgrass has looked great since he’s come on.

    Defo on the shortlist.

Had him last year for about 10 weeks and couldn’t get rid due to blank and Dgw he had an awful lot of 1 pointers like tonight. Top of my ‘never again’ list along with several others including Fabianski.

That’s the same group of players who have let managers and supporters down for past few years ?
Yes the attack looks good on paper
Ozil always looks good on paper too
    With xhaka behind them
And then there is the defence .........
I would want to see more evidence than beating an equally flaky united team
    The league table doesn’t lie

I think it looks good too even if only on paper. Lacazette, Auba and Pepe all starting looks promising. You are right about the defence of course. And of course Palace have not been easy for Arsenal always. Yeah actually started out to make one point and am back to agreeing with you. :D

We will see how they look today
This is a test even if Palace defence is decimated
I didn’t start zaha for nothing though .......

Disagree completely. Pepe, Lacazette & Aubameyang haven’t let anyone down. Torreira was very good for most parts of last season and for some reason Emery didn’t fancy him as much this season.

Kolasinac is very good attacking wise & suspect defensively like most full backs these days.

Mainland Niles is fair solid & has been good since he came into the team.

The Arsenal supporters have expected way too much too soon & drove the bad vibes around Emirates. I think they give him more time, particularly the way he is setting up & playing expansive.

There will be plenty of goals in this Arsenal team as they become accustomed to the way they are wanted to play now

    PEA goal (Lacca)

The first attempt on goal after 12 minutes leads to a goal.

    Great pas by Lacazette.

Palace well of the pace. Don't think zaha has touched the ball

Looks like Arteta has Arsenal moulded into a more defensively sound team. Dare I say David Luiz/Kolasinac viable?

Kolasinac looks good especially going forward that said a mistake is always in arsenal.

Lacca or Auba will the ones to own if arsenal can put a bit of form together.

Happy with that first half but really want something else from Auba before I consider him a success.

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,687 ✭✭✭✭wonski

There could have been penalty against Arsenal, Luiz handball.

Now I wouldn't give it, but if they checked it on Var, they could defend their decision to give it.

    9 points is a success.

    9 points is a success.

If you have him as a differential you'll want him to get another goal or assist to gain ground as you'd expect Rashford/Vardy/Tammy/Jimmi to all score today

    9 points is a success.

No guarantees he holds onto the 3 bonus. Rashers could get more than 9 later.

    Ayew goal

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,348 ✭✭✭✭siblers

    Possinly a Tekkers assist

    Edit
Might be Luiz og, Ayew assist

That palace goal shows why arsenal defenders can not be trusted

Lovely stuff, sold Zaha and started Ayew

    Usually the sold player scores

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,687 ✭✭✭✭wonski

Auba booked, but could have been red.

    Var still checking it.

    Sent off now.

    PEA red card

3 games off for Aubameyang, and I started thinking about getting him in.

  • Registered Users Posts: 48,131 ✭✭✭✭km79

Well I for one am shocked at how this is going .........

Won’t be touching any of their players until next August at the earliest

It’s the same group of players
Arteta might be a good coach but that dressing room is still toxic
