You would think Detective Chief Superintendent Constable Craig Tinker might have piped up with his local knowledge.

DS Swain should be following the Ovids payments, not tormenting poor Roy.

The 'fingerprints on the condom package' evidence was laughable. Roy picked it up gingerly with two fingers and that is what the fingerprints would show, not that his prints got on it from opening the package and using the contents.

How stupid and niave are people on that street, the crime rates are through the roof, yet nobody spot the new customer in the corner taking notes or the 2 dodgy customers waiting to corner Roy on his own.

Let alone, the same dodgy lad inside a police station ear wigging and taking photos on the sly.

And could Max as a minor or being involved with their arrest even be allowed near the jail for visiting.

Such ridiculous behaviours.

It would be much more interesting if a long-standing much loved character like Roy murdered Lauren and turns out he was a serial killing psychopath all those years and had body parts buried all over his flat.....in real life, its usually the unassuming nice guy next door!

True and I'm sure there were scenes there when Hayley was around. Certainly don't recall it being used recently.

Maybe with it being resurrected, they are planning to write Roy being housebound in upcoming scenes on the back of the attention he will get from the online trolls.

They really are showing Roy now as a idiot, he should know not to have gone to the vigil given how he is targetted if it were someone else he'd be advising them to let the police do their job and do not get involved, a ridiculous storyline, was Evelyn or the landlord even interviewed about the state of the flat plus no one cares about Lauren (viewers don't)

As Stephen used to say “this is ludicrous” it’ll probably turn out that Lauren hit someone with a chair ran away in a panic and it’s their blood and not hers sprayed on the wall. I couldn’t care less where she’s gone or if she ever comes back.

Why would Lauren, whose criminal father is banged up in the big house, who doesn’t appear to have either mother or siblings , or indeed have any real connection to the street or anyone in it, and who would appear to be close to the “fringes “ of society , used to living wholly or partly on her wits, be automatically and so overwhelmingly considered to be murdered ?? Is it not far more likely that she just decided to up sticks after losing her job and move on to somewhere more hospitable.

I think they're pressing on the fact that the flat was obviously left in a hurry....sandwich prepared on table etc.

But you're right, jumping to conclusion of murder seems a bit extreme
