There’s been quite a few versions over the years I quite liked the 3 tier Randy Lerner version which wrapped the corners of the lower tier of the North Stand, The Forgotten Bright Future’ if anyone wants to google it. Here’s a quote from the 2010 article,

‘Currently, though a new North Stand is a pipe dream when you have a team on the pitch that can’t score, making them far from a big box office draw.’

Ultimately I suppose it’s the 2028 Euros that drives this version but the danger being that with this deadline we end up with a short term solution that long term is less than satisfactory.

Personally I think there’s a lot of room at the back of the North Stand that should be used you could even move the pitch down. There’s also plenty of space on Witton Lane at the back of the Doug Ellis, that road is very quiet during the day and multiple ways to go round it with little delay.
