15/8 about kemboy is an absolute gift from the gods. Percy still won't be 100% and i wouldn't be backing him even if he was as he's plenty to prove to show that he's in the same league as kemboy - 10/3 is absolutely hilarious about him.

Won twice at Cheltenham Festival 2 years in a row, defeating the 2019 Gold Cup winner in RSA. Got injured last year and terrible prep. I guess the small trainer underdog line has a lot of appeal as well.

Every time I've opposed Kemboy he wins so based off that full proof evidence he'll lose tomorrow.

It'll be an interesting race. I felt they should have gambled and sent Road to Respect over to the King George but they obviously think he can do a job here. How does Percy get on? Does Delta Work come on or does that RSA top 3 from last year go from bottomless potential to nearly running out of steam? Can Monalee find something again?

Lot of handy horses to keep them all honest too, Bellshill, Anibale Fly etc. My old favourite Jett is in great form and should run a good race.

What’s the word on The Church Gate today?

Someone tipped him up last year on this day & he hacked up!

The Cashel Man my only bet in Newbury

Do you think The Cashel Man can beat Thyme Hill, the horse that was beaten 2 and half lengths into third in the Champion Bumper last year by some yoke called Envoi Allen (I think Elliott referred to him as a freak) with Blue Sari in second and Abacadabras behind him ?

I don't get the Percy stuff either. Kemboy is 6 out of 8 chasing in Ireland, last three of them G1's. Streets ahead of them in my opinion. His win at Aintree in April has been well franked by the second that day in the last few days. I assume they have been riding him like a Maserati around Closutton.

The Bosses Oscar in the opener for me.

2:10 - Battle of marathon was given a run last time so bad you could not believe it, yet it still nearly won despite having lost a dozen lengths going wide the whole way around. 11/1 a huge price if it can run to the same level today.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,474 ✭✭✭longshotvalue

Mortal seems a big price at 25/1 with 6 places paddy . Touch of class and good mark over hutches .
