Probably a little early as the last game of GW19 hasn't been played yet but only approx 14 hours between the end of the GW and the start of GW20

Should be a number of different (C) choices again this week

VC will just be as important I think with some bound to be rested

Currently on Sterking but depends on tonight's game

Currently on KDB but depends if I think he's rotated.

    Otherwise it'll be Ings

    Probably Vardy.

Thinking Mane at this stage but not 100%

I would expect Mané to be rested this GW having played the full 90 vs Leicester.

Salah with KDB back up. If I had Sterking then I would go with him.

I think people read too much into someone playing 90 mins, coming off 20 minutes earlier really doesn't make that much difference. The likes of Rashford, Kane and Vardy have all played similar minutes to Mané in December while Vardy and TAA have played more. Mané has serious energy and is well able to go again this weekend.

Indeed. Could always come off early if need be.

    Aguero is really tempting now...

    Sterling, he's a differential now

Edit: tonight has made me very wary of this

The 20 minutes usually don't make that much difference in reality, its more of an indicator. Very often, if the manager is planning to rest the player in the next game they will give them the full 90. However, given that you only have 3 substitutions and 11 players, it can only be so much of an indicator.

    Ings transferred in and captained

    Going with Mane (I think!)

Liverpool have nearly 3 full days since the Leicester game, and then another 4 full days before they play Sheffield United. I think talk of mass rotation is overstated.

Think he'll start but might come off around 60 minutes like Salah did

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,579 ✭✭✭sheroman01

Too many options this week. Will Sterling be rested do we think?

  • Registered Users Posts: 47,960 ✭✭✭✭km79

    Changed to Mane

KDB for me. Hoping he’s not rested and Sheffield rest a few !

Think you did this last week but got it right at the last moment.

I went Abraham and got it wrong.

This week I had it on Alli until I sold him this morning because of the talk from Jose.

I’m currently flipping between Vardy and Moura but have it on the former for now.

Went with Alli then but today is a headwreck trying to second guess manager's rotating.
Maupey at home to Bournemouth is kind of left field but he's on form and Bournemouth aren't.

    Sticking with Salah again

I think Bournemouth are actually getting it together but I don’t want to confuse you anymore than you are.

I’m picking opposition more than anything. M

Don’t have a Watford player to captain against Villa but I do have Moura to captain against Norwich.

That said I think West Ham attack at home and I can see Leicester bouncing back and Vardy exploiting that space.

So I’m flipping between those 2.

I may actually toss a coin, and accept that, so I don’t beat myself up later.

Back to Vardy. West Ham are woeful at the back and it looks like Pellegrini will be sacked this evening, the players aren't going to try.
That's my logic for picking Vardy.
