Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Best Cinema / screen in Galway

    In Galway for next week and want to see new star wars film. What's the best screen in Galway, screen size, best sound etc

    Eye cinema I'd say.
    You might want to check out the new Salthill cinema, supposedly good.

    The galactic screen in the IMC or Screen 8 in the Eye are both good and the biggest screens. Screen 7 in the Eye is the luxury screen which is smaller venue but seriously comfy seating/nice environment. Can't say on Salthill in terms of screen sizes as haven't been there.

    Screen 8 in The Eye is better than anything in the IMC, including the Galactic Screen, which is just better than average.

    Screen One in The Palas is quite good.

    Best of all would probably be anything in the new Omniplex Cinema in Salthill. Huge recliner seats, plenty of space, amazing sound and picture quality. A bit priceier than the other cinemas but streets ahead in terms of comfort and presentation. I'd imagine they have Star Wars playing on their biggest screen. You can't go wrong with them.
