I've two old working Toshiba Satellites with windows 98 on them that I've been meaning to turn into a couple of gaming machines for an age. Might be an interesting new year plan.

Yep, have a few of them. Mostly use the Pentium 120 for dos stuff, fully loaded with 3dfx card, Awe 64 sound card and using cfcard to boot.

You can set up virtual machines on win10 using Hyper-V Manager; allows for native hosting of whatever O/S you want; including win98. No need for old boxes or emulators. Works a bit like a virtual desktop (for anyone who has ever used something like Remote Desktop or one of the linux VNC variants to ... well .. remotely connect to a desktop).

I have winXP set up so I can indulge in some old school Space Hulk, and I keep meaning to get around to setting up win98 so I can re-install Warhammer: Mark of Chaos

    All five episodes for €1.49

Secret Agent & Incredible Machines were the two I enjoyed, as both involved puzzles.
