A good day for coining it in. If I don't break even or make a profit to sp I'll not back another horse until the nxt decade

Roll on tomorrow, it appears the decs will be out then.

Need to get my studying going early in order to get my punting portfolio ready. I'll be hoping to at least have north of 25 picks in order to make it worth my while - the more selections, the more confident I will be of making that profit I promised myself - thereby not depriving myself of four days of shouting at the telly in local betting shop.

If I manage to hit the 32 (or more selections) mark, that will have me quoting myself at 1/5 to make a decent profit, 4/9 to double up or better and 8/13 to triple or greater funds. At 13/2 to sextuple up or higher total staked I can let that alone as I wouldn't be having much on that anyway as it's very speculative.

This may mean some races will have more than one running for me, but since the majority of mine will be e/w that's fine by me.

If all goes to plan I'll be back thursday

Elegant Escape is short at 4s but it looks a good thing to me for Welsh National

Can someone tell me what beats it? Its an awful field. Conditions are perfect for Tizzards' horse

Looks even better this season so i can’t see it being beat, there are horses who will suit trip and track in the race but not a class angle to EE who ticks all boxes.

Think that's Elegant Escapes biggest threat

Jockey puts me off backing Yala Enki

Don't rate Bryony Frost one bit

Cant fathom how Laurina is favourite for the leopardstown race.

    Fakir/Samcro double for me.

Not many horses win top class handicaps off marks in the 160s. The ones that do are usually top class themselves. Elegant Escape could only manage 6th in the gold cup. Something will beat him.

Has anyone priced up the Leop card?

Danny Whizzbang for the Kauto Star is interesting. He really impressed me LTO and looks to be a pure Gold Cup horse.

I'd be willing to oppose Fusil Raffles based off the last run which was piss poor.

Laurina should beat Fakir if she is what I think she is.

I think CDO might pull a Conti and go back to back in the King George although LIT is still the Gold Cup winner in waiting in my eye. I might have a sentimental flutter on Thistlecrack.

I agree. Im looking at Elixir de Nutz each way at 16/1. Second season novice so could be open to improvement, won the Tolworth last season going right handed and on winter ground and has an in form Power on his back. There's no superstar to beat here so could nab a place if returning to form.

Epatante looks a great price at 5/1, flatter tracks bring out the best if her i’m sure.

Interesting , although the prices are reflecting this. More telling is that Hobbs has no big entries on Thursday, he has entries at Leopardstown on Friday, it will be interesting to see if Johnson goes there. Jerrysback ran at Ascot on Saturday, but No comment is entered in the Paddy Power.

    https://www.irishracing.com/jockey?name=R%20Johnson&prt=3752

He is riding two for Chris Gordon? You would have to think his best chance is on Dostal Phil, price is not great though.

I was told to back Potters Corner by a shrewdy I met last night. Seemingly into 7's now for Chepstow, the shrewdy was on at 50's of course. I might wait for a better price.

This racing famine is awful, I am starving.

They might be your favourites roger but not the greatest ;)

This king George is really a belter , will be very tactically interesting. I can see puppy sitting out the back just popping away , then takes closer order 4 out. Then makes his way through them between 3 and 2 out . Then passes cyrename jumping the last and powers home to victory !

Elliot's runner in the last at Down Royal meant to be one of their best bumper horses. Very short at 4/6 so will double it up with Lost In Translation.

    Doing these tomorrow:

1.10 Leopardstown Aspire tower really liked his win last time and form boosted since 7/4
12.50 Kempton Vegas Blue Nicky would have had a choice of a few here to enter fact he throws her in here after the win the last day suggesting she must be held highly for first try over hurdles. Gets weight from the geldings to that helps 2/1
    1:35 Wetherby Beau Bay 13/2
    2:20 Leopardstown Fakir doudaires 11/8
    3.05 Kempton Lostintranslation 7/4 NB

Get out stakes 330 Leopardstown good time johnny 10/1 ew
Get out again stakes 350 Limerick Tucane 9/2 NAP
