Hi, A rep was just on morning Ireland radio this morning saying there are free gunk pots for waste fats and oils on water.ie website
But I'm not seeing them on the website?.
Could you link or provide more details about how a household obtains this gunk pot please?.

All of the initially available gunk pots have been given away already, however we've added some limited stock which is available on water.ie. For further information you can see more here.

Thanks,
Daniel

Thanks Daniel but it appears it's a broken link you posted?

What are they exactly? Any pictures?

Hi Alun,

GunkPots are heat resistant and designed to safely store used fat, oil and grease which may otherwise find its way down the drain or toilet. They come with a scraper and sink strainer making it even easier for you to protect your drain from tiny food scraps. Please see the following link here and at the end of the page there is a video showing pictures of them. If the link still does not work, you can go to water.ie and visit the 'Think Before You Pour' section of the website.

Thanks,
Daniel

I used to have one under the bed when I was a young lad.
