Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Need a reason though :pac:

End of converation was the reason.

If it needs saying, it's just a far superior film. The older it gets the more charming it is, but even without the 80's-ness, it's a really good action film. Funny, with a hero you actually like, supporting characters that amuse you and a villain with no redeeming characters.

Home Alone. The ultimate Christmas classic.

    Hmmmmm....

    Tactical or preference?

    Gonna go...

    It's A Wonderful Life.

Probably deserves the final a little bit more than Home Alone.

Home Alone, purely for John Candy

    Its a wonderful life
Because it should win the whole competition

It's a Wonderful Life is a deserving finalist and it gets my vote over Home Alone which is also a great movie but doesn't have the staying power.

Its a Wonderful Life - Joe Pesci can do a Billy Batts on that little turd of a kid!

This is tough, both in my top 5. Will go for Home Alone as more likely to keep the whole family entertained throughout

It’s a Wonderful Life, tragedy, love, desperation, kindness, it’s all part of life but we get through it together. It’s Christmas

Its a Wonderful Life, the original Christmas classic and feel good movie

And the more I think about Home Alone, its actually kind of tedious, wouldn't be bothered watching it again

Home Alone because of the laughs

    This a vote?

No. My vote was 2 posts further on. Which doesn't seem to have been counted yet.

Home alone because " Harry, I've reached the top!"

Another tough choice, but gonna go with Home Alone because it's Die Hard for kids, and if it goes through 2 of my nominations are in the final, after having 3 in the semis

Home alone, its got Joe Pesci doing his best not to actually Curse in a kids film

Cant vote Its a wonderful life, bad guys get away with it.

All eyes on Kursk. Slava Ukraini.

IAWL - it gets me right in the feels everytime I watch it. HA has its charm, Pesci and Stern are an excellent double act but I'll go for the old school classic

Little do you know but once he gets the bank up and running again George Bailey goes all Rambo on Potter and hangs his corpse on the entrance sign to Bedford Falls - it was a deleted scene
