Applying for jobseekers after 12 weeks of carers allowance after death

    Hi,

    I very sadly lost my Mum last month, and will still receive Carer's allowance for 12 weeks, which takes me to the second week of January.

    Does anyone know if I should apply for Jobseekers allowance before the 12 weeks are up? (I have been applying for jobs, but not much out there)

    I worked before looking after my Mum so haven't really much of an idea what happens now?
