I notice the 49ers soft schedule is coming to an end fairly swiftly, 3 of the top 5 teams in league upcoming, 2 on the road.

Apparently the first time ever this tough of a run of games this late in the season (where records tend to be a lot more 'real' than earlier in the season).

I think it's good for a team with the 49ers ambitions to get to test themselves against some of the leagues best. Win or lose, they would be the better for it imo (assuming they make the playoffs of course!)

Huge win for the Texans last night. Now a game lead on the Colts and evened up the h2h.
Just one game off the Ravens too so second seed could still happen. The no. 1 seed could happen too, they've got the Patriots next Sunday night.

The eagles are a thread bare team today. Also Carson wentz missed a wide open miles sanders.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,698 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

Eagles turn the ball over and wentz fumbled the ball. They should have left this game as the SNF game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,698 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

Carson wentz has zero to no pocket awareness
so far. Just none at all.

Winston throws a 71 TD but also 2 INTs in 20 minutes.
    Story of his career

Horse**** call on Oakland. NYJ then score.

Steelers @Bengals is a punting exhibition. Two of the most harmless offences you’ll ever see.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,475 ✭✭✭KaiserGunner

Watching this Eagles offense is painful.

Watching this Eagles offense is painful.

Yep. Fair enough the WR arent a bit of a mix and some guys that wouldn't normally be out there but even so Carson Wentz is not playing well. He had miles sanders open a few series ago and Charles Davis the commentator pointed it out a replay. I mean for Christ sake throw the ball to the open player.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,698 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

That wasn't a fun half of football for eagles fans.

Same in bears giants game. Honestly would make you wonder why you're spending your Sundays watching it.

Oakland being humbled by the Jets of all teams.

48yard PAT attempt from the Bears!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,475 ✭✭✭KaiserGunner

The Eagles only down by 7, but may as well be 21. They aren’t getting a score in this game again from that offense. Is a real pity as the defense has been great.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,472 ✭✭✭✭Oat23

    Bears score a TD. Great!

    But...

    Nagy says go for 2.
Wastes a timeout on the 2 pt conversion as the play clock was going to expire.
Calls a play that has Allen Robinson setting a pick.
Gets flagged for the obvious pick.
    Line up for XP instead.
Get flagged for 12 men on the field for the XP.
End up kicking a 48-yard XP and missing.

Even when we do something good (the TD) they take every ounce of happiness out of it by doing stupid stuff right after.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 13,687 ✭✭✭✭jack presley

What kind of tackle was that by the Eagles guy there? He didn’t use his hand for God’s sake.

17-3 Seahawks. 50 odd yard run from Penny, brings it to the house. Can’t see the Eagles coming back from this now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,475 ✭✭✭KaiserGunner

4th turnover given away by the Eagles offense  Ffs

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,698 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

Putrid stuff from the eagles offense. The defense can't do everything. Carson wentz better work out whatever is the issue outside of the injuries and solve it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,698 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

And that's that. Painful ****e to watch.

Panthers with a masterclass on how to lose a game

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,599 ✭✭✭ScrubsfanChris

Scott Hansen with a whole lot of filler now with just the two games.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

NFC wildcard race looks done (I'm assuming Baltimore win at LAR). Two teams coming out of NFC West and NFC North.

Couldn't put it better myself. It's like even when they win they still want to make sure you feel bad about it. I'd rather be a giants fan right now, future looks better there at the moment. Even khalil Mack is just depressing to watch since hicks went out and they started putting him in coverage the whole time (which, frankly, is like putting the Ferrari in the garage, but whatever)

Gotta hand it to tannehill, he's grabbed his opportunity with both hands. Looks a different player to last year at Miami.
