Not looking good tonight in fact very boring they must be losing a lot of viewers with line ups like this certainly not as the Renault sponsor add says "Thrilling Entertainment"

Joining Ryan Tubridy on the couch will the family of the late Brendan Grace.
The comedian's wife Eileen and daughters Melanie and Amanda are due to discuss coming to terms with Brendan's death.

Award-winning crooner Harry Connick Jr will also be in studio, teaming up RTÉ Symphony Orchestra for a special performance.

Climate change will also be tackled. The young Irish people with answers to the climate question will be in studio as 50 members of RTÉ's Youth Assembly on Climate chat to Tubridy

Mary Black will be on the couch to chat and also perform alongside the RTÉ Symphony Orchestra.

And finally, art from Banksy and Andy Warhol will be on display as Tubridy speaks to presenter-turned-artist Thelma Mansfield about this weekend's art fair

That's poor. Harry Connick Jnr. should be good. Mary Black is grand.
Lots of time for Thelma. She once signed an autograph 'Derek Davis' for a pal of mine for the craic.
The Brendan Grace piece will be flat and sad.
    The weekend starts here....

It's a wonder Westlife have not been on the show since they announced their comeback? They even have a new album out this week. Also Nicky being part of RTE with DWTS and 2fm

Certainly looks like the party's over, after way too much celebration.

Harry Connick has his own chat show for a number of years. He’ll walk all over Turbidy.

Harry Connick Jnr appeared as a Judge on an Australian Show 'hey hey it's Saturday' a few years ago and got highly offended by a Blackface Act (not unreasonably

So don't be trying any cheap racist stunts like that tonight, Tubs. Just saying.

I dare say he might be like our presenter in later years. Think of other presenters, eg early quiz show, in later years.

Time to roll out the RTE orchestra to try to prove that they are worth the money that it costs to run it..

A few people there in fairness would be fine- Harry, Mary Black, Grace Family should be all good - problem is it's very heavily weighted on the Arts this evening so a bit over-kill - we've had the Mary Black documentary earlier this year on TV so very little new; I like Thelma but again just too OTT arty this evening - misery slot is climate change which I guess makes a change from cancer: P

    Evening all :D

A bunch of children were in the Dail solving climate change. Will be interesting to see how they feel about climate change when they can't afford a home or have to emigrate due to a recession. Who is pushing this climate change stuff in the schools?
