    Since After Hours has been getting very nostalgic as of late what with threads on TV show intros we loved back in the 1970s, 80s and 90s and the Ultimate 80s/90s TV show tournament, do yous have any baby/childhood/youth pics that you’ve posted up previously online and everybody goes ”aaaaaww?” ....

    ...or are they pics that you’ve locked away firmly in a cupboard, never to see the light of day again, given how cringeworthy they were - of you in flared dungarees and a pudding bowl haircut? :eek::D


    I’ll start - here’s one of me holding one of our family dog’s pups when I was 8 years of age, in our back garden. :) Taken around the summer of 1983.

    Why is it strange and why would it get locked? If posters want to post up pics taken of then 20, 30 or 40+ years ago, I don’t see the big problem?

    My kid looks more like me than one year old looked like me. It’s surprising because my wife doesn’t look like me at all. The combination is a bit like you took a mini copy of me, then used some of my wife’s genes to make him way better looking.

    Not posting pics though.

    Generally any thread with pics of posters gets locked.

    People got doxxed by pricks doing a reverse lookup. A lot of the photos people posted were also on their facebook/instagram/twitter and they weren't hard to find.
