Available to house sit - EU

I will be working on a computer based project this winter that allows me to work from anywhere with broadband. So I thought why not check out for house sitting opportunities somewhere in the EU? Does anyone have any tips?
I am currently in the Netherlands and can travel on short notice.

Doesn't seem to be huge demand here for this, a few short term jobs (days to a couple of weeks) from what I can tell.

Spain, Italy, France and Bulgaria seem to have a good few longer term jobs of several months to 1+ year.

Great idea though.
