    I didn't have you down as a fan of Marty in the Morning, Emmet.

    I was a keen Marty man, but since the imperious Bryan 'Dobbo' Dobson joined Morning Ireland I've gone back to serious 'current affairs' as I drive to work.

    Ah, I’ve been a Marty fan for a few years now. I won’t lie, it was my “better half” who turned me on to his show.

    If I’m available for it, or out driving, I’d put on Pat Kenny at 9am

    Ah, I’ve been a Marty fan for a few years now. I won’t lie, it was my “better half” who turned me on to his show.

    Pat is the finest radio broadcaster of about 3 generations at this stage. If I have any criticism of the chap; it's that he appears almost too intelligent, and tends to ask questions of his guests that assumes he already knows all the answers. Which is the most minor of criticism. The dude is a clever guy.

    The man is a legend of insightful radio journalism.
