Tannehill not doing much better than Mariota, game over

He was a bit better, but tbh i think its because the Broncos went into prevent mode, they have up a lot of the underneath stuff.

    oline is just so bad

Barring a 10 minute spell in the 4th quarter and when Artie Burns is not around, the Steelers look to have a genuine defense at last.

Already the same amount of takeaways as last season.

So the 49ers are 5-0 for apparently the first time in nearly 30 years.

The eagles did not play well yesterday and josh McCown has played the end of the last two games for very different reasons. De sean Jackson needs to come back as soon as possible because the eagles offense is not good without him. Teams know that there isn’t a deep treat when he’s not there and the other eagles WR and TEs aren’t getting it done. Yes the eagles scored 20 points yesterday but they should have had more. The Viking’s are a bloody good team in fairness and will most likely be around at the business end of things. The eagles secondary is god awful. I mean they have to be the worst pairing in the league.

That Jared Goff contract will kill this Rams team's chances over the next few years.

$36m cap hit next year. Sheesh....

If you're going to give a player such a huge deal you don't expect the coach to have to put in so much effort to hide him during a game. I know part of it was to negate the 49ers DL but McVay had no faith in Goff to get the ball out quickly or make good decisions while under pressure, which is nearly the minimum you'd expect for the money they gave out.

I've tried to not get too excited about the 49ers but it is hard not to at this point. They went into the NFC Champion's home and bullied them, despite Rams being on a long week, 9ers being on a short week, with a 6th round rookie in one tackle spot, a guy just out of the AAF in the other tackle spot, an UDFA starting his second game at CB, and down their FB (I know but he's pretty important for Shanahan). Aside from the rehearsed starting drive for the Rams, they could do nothing against that defense.

Looking at the schedule they could be 8-0 heading into the first game with the Seahawks, though I've probably jinxed it now and they'll end up losing to the Redskins next week.

Game was over by the time Tannehill came in - Titans couldn't run the ball - Broncos were just happy to contain the Titans offence.

Broncos D have now gone 9 quarters without giving up a tounchdown (and just 2 FGs) - no matter how bad the opposing offence that is a pretty decent performance.

Disgraceful performance from the officials hand the Packers a win 23-22 over Detroit. The NFL should be known as flagball. A cod of a game

    Good job Refs:rolleyes:
Have the give the Packers a helping hand when they need it at Lambeau.

Rodgers addresses the criticism of his performances in the 4th quarter, missing Adams and Allison.

That makes 9-5 for the week, not great but a few upsets in there.

I saw the score this morning and didn't think anything strange but it seems the refs made a balls of it again.

Yeah, 2 phantom hands to the face calls on Trey Flowers in the 4th quarter. The first two he's ever had in his career!
One eventually led to a touchdown instead of a punt back to the Lions & the other led to the game winning field goal with no time left on the clock

I've had a chance to see the two hands to the face calls from last night. Neither were near the head or neck, both times it was the shoulder pads. The first one I've no idea what the officials were at. The second one while still not a flag the lineman does a good sell job of tilting his head back.

That throw for Lazard's TD was a thing of beauty.

Also, really like what Patricia is doing with Detroit.

Both he and Gruden are doing well so far in their second seasons. Will eat some crow on both if they can keep it going

As a Broncos fan obviously Gruden's resurgence is a pain. But I still like to see things like that happen generally.

If Patricia lasts to year 4 I think we will see what he's actually about depending on if he picks his own qb

Do you really think they'd move away from Stafford? I'd be very surprised.

That's two massive divisional wins completely handed to the Packers by referees. It happens to some extent year after year in Lambeau but the level is just off the charts this year. Hopefully they'll eventually be found out away from the nest

Christ I just saw the Packers had 13 players on the field for one play and it wasn't called. THIRTEEN

Pretty sure stations can only flex to a different game during the last 6/7 weeks, if I'm not mistaken.

Somehow only just saw this when searching for my results from last week.

They were allowed to flex last weekend's games, it was widely talked about in the 49ers media and the coaches were asked in the run up to the Browns game. As there is only a limited number of games that can be flexed in, it is rare it happens that early in the season unless something drastic occurs. They're picked for Sunday night for specific reason and marketing has generally already happened.
