HKC - need to change zone setting

    Hi. Hope I can get some advice please

    My HKC alarm has 3 shortcuts

    0#4 leaving house all zones closed

    0#8 leaving house downstairs zones closed - upstairs can be open

    0#7 nighttime mode - downstairs all closed, PIR downstairs ignored, and upstairs can be left open

    Problem is if I’m in a rush to leave on occasion I’ve opened the front door and then set the alarm using
    0#7 and the alarm just goes off !!

    Can it be changed for this setting only to recognise the front door as an open zone and just not set, instead of causing the alarm to go off?

    If I need to go back to installer I will.

    You need to set up Part Set A (0#7) to be timed.
    Do you have engineer access?
